- Lead functional testing efforts to ensure alignment with business objectives and end-user expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed and executable test cases.
- Organize and facilitate testing ceremonies including test planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
- Perform ETL and data validation testing using SQL.
- Partner with onshore and offshore teams to promote Quality Engineering (QE) best practices, documentation standards, and effective knowledge transfer.
- Manage regular status reporting, risk assessments, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and test coverage.
- Serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), building domain knowledge and promoting quality throughout sprint cycles and release phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering (QE) or Quality Assurance (QA) roles.
- Expertise in functional testing, test case design, and execution in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.
- Strong knowledge of QE methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing strategies.
- Hands-on experience in SQL and ETL testing.
- Skilled in conducting meetings, driving team consensus, and delivering clear and concise reports.
- Solid domain knowledge in financial services or large-scale enterprise systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with globally distributed teams.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Azure Cloud platforms and related tools.
- Familiarity with software development practices and tools such as GitHub.
