About This RoleÂ
The Materials Control Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations to ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient movement of materials across the facility. This role would be a co-lead for a team of 6–10 employees, coordinating daily activities including inventory control, and shipping/receiving in a cGMP environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational flow, partnering cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, and Planning to meet production timelines. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve operational challenges while maintaining compliance. This position operates with a high degree of independence and reports into site operations leadership, contributing directly to overall facility performance.Â
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm. There may be an occasional need for weekend and after-hours support.Â
What You’ll DoÂ
- Lead daily warehouse activities including receiving and shipping of materialsÂ
- Coordinate team workload to maintain operational efficiency and schedule adherenceÂ
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and cycle count variancesÂ
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support production and materials planning needsÂ
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within materials management processesÂ
- Ensure completion and compliance of all GxP and safety training requirementsÂ
- Support SOP revisions, deviations, and Good Control Compliance activitiesÂ
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of departmental work ordersÂ
- Other job duties as requiredÂ

Required Skills for the Materials Control Lead: $29.33 - $37.98 pay range
- The following combination of academic and/or relevant experience may be considered:Â
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at minimum 1 year of relevant experience.Â
- Associate’s degree and at minimum 3 years of relevant experienceÂ
- High school diploma or equivalent and at minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or logisticsÂ
- Experience with cycle count programs and inventory auditsÂ
- Warehouse operations leadership experienceÂ
- Forklift experience or ability to be trainedÂ
- Strong communication and team coordination skillsÂ
- Cross-functional collaborationÂ
- Safety and quality focusÂ

Physical RequirementsÂ
Ability to stand for four (4) hours, walk for three (3) hours, sit for three (3) hours, kneel or bend for one (1) hour, is required to perform upper body twisting motions for one half (½) hour and climb steps for one half (½) hour during the normal course of performing the essential duties of the position.   Â
Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance for up to 100 feet, occasionally push/pull more than 100 pounds Â
Sufficient physical dexterity to operate a telephone, computer/electronic equipment, hand tools, forklifts, order selectors and other equipmentÂ
Preferred SkillsÂ
- Experience working in a GMP environmentÂ
- Experience using Oracle or other ERP systems such as SAPÂ
- Experience working with MESÂ
- Continuous improvement or Lean experienceÂ

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
