Senior / Lead Software Developer (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Kubernetes)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices-based solutions to support business-critical applications.
- Build scalable, resilient, and high-performing distributed systems following microservices architecture principles.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8S).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using Splunk, AppDynamics and Datadog.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentoring to development teams.
- Support and enhance existing production systems while ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Integrate and maintain IVR and customer support applications as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 2 years in a Lead/Technical Lead role.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java
- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- REST API Design & Development
- Microservices Architecture
- Experience building and deploying scalable, distributed enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) and containerized deployments.
- Experience with AppDynamics and/or Datadog for application monitoring and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of API security, scalability, resilience, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with API Gateway, Service Mesh, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Kafka, messaging systems, and distributed system design.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- IVR or Contact Center domain experience is a plus.
