As a part-time Mathnasium Instructor, you will be trained on the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods. Math skills in the following areas are desirable but not required: Algebra 1, & 2, Geometry, Algebra 3, Trigonometry, & Pre-Calculus.

Our instructors experience daily the impact they make. Mathnasium provides for success by finding the right starting point (through diagnostic testing) and building a child’s confidence and self–esteem through an individualized lesson plan.

This is a part-time position varying from about 6 to 25 hrs per week, depending on the programs you are able to instruct and your availability. Flexible work hours are in afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday ~3:30pm to 7:30pm; Sunday 12pm – 4pm.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for mathematics • A passion for working with students• Mathematics competency through at least Algebra II• Good social and communication skills• College level mathematics or class room education course work• Willingness to learn the Mathnasium teaching methodsJob Responsibilities

Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
Teach in-center, using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices

All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is required to complete training in the Mathnasium Method™. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.
