Summary:UST is looking forFront End Lead Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of modern web applications . The role involves leading the development of scalable, reusable UI capabilities, dashboards, visualization components, and contributor-plugin integrations while mentoring engineering teams and establishing frontend best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Angular and TypeScript-based applications.
• Drive the evolution of key platform modules including Process Explorer, Tool Overview Dashboard, File & Recipe, Report Builder, Inventory, and Settings.
• Define and implement reusable UI components, shared libraries, and modular frontend architecture.
• Develop and optimize REST API integrations, state management, validation, error handling, and application performance.
• Support advanced visualization capabilities, including 2D/3D rendering and contributor plugin integration.
• Establish and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Implement frontend security, monitoring, diagnostics, telemetry, and performance optimization practices.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor team members through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise inAngular andTypeScript.
• Experience building reusable components, shared libraries, and modular UI architectures.
• Expertise in REST API integration and data-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience with complex state management and asynchronous workflows.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing, browser diagnostics, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, technical documentation, and mentoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience withBlazor, micro-frontends, or plugin-based architectures.
• Exposure toAthena SDK.
• Experience with 2D/3D visualization, scientific imaging, or data visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, accessibility standards, and enterprise design systems.
• Understanding of npm package security, SAST, SCA, and SBOM practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and SAFe Agile methodologies.

Additional Information

• Work model: Hyderabad office with 4 days/week onsite presence.
• Travel may be required for onboarding, PI Planning, workshops, and key project milestones.
