The Opportunity:
UST is looking for a Software Design & Development Engineer to design and develop enterprise-grade software solutions supporting Client validation infrastructure. The role focuses on backend architecture, automation frameworks, CI/CD workflows, OS image management, engineering utilities, and scalable software solutions that improve validation efficiency, automation coverage, and operational reliability.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-grade backend software, automation frameworks, CI/CD workflows, OS image management solutions, and engineering utilities supporting Client validation infrastructure.
- Lead software architecture design, application optimization, and development of scalable backend solutions.
- Perform code reviews, establish development best practices, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Develop and maintain APIs, workflow automation solutions, and backend services for engineering applications.
- Design and optimize databases to support validation workflows and infrastructure applications.
- Integrate Linux platforms, Docker containerization, and automation frameworks into software solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and validation coverage.
- Support Artifactory integration, software artifact management, and release management processes.
- Collaborate with Client stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional groups to deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical mentoring, guidance, and knowledge-sharing to software engineers and development teams.
- Drive continuous improvements in automation efficiency, software reliability, and validation infrastructure capabilities.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and software lifecycle processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with global engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
