About The Job:

• We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) Finance Functional Consultant with strong functional expertise across core Finance modules and end-to-end business processes.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of JDE EnterpriseOne Finance solutions.
• The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and their integration with Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Manufacturing, Costing, Intercompany, Tax, and Financial Reporting processes.
• The candidate should be capable of independently driving functional initiatives, partnering with Finance and business stakeholders, and collaborating effectively with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with JDE best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, prioritize, and document business requirements and translate them into effective JDE solutions.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional requirements, process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scenarios.
• Lead the functional design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of JDE EnterpriseOne Finance solutions.
• Configure and support core JDE Finance modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, and Manufacturing Accounting.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Finance integration with Sales Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and other upstream/downstream processes.
• Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including transfer pricing, cycle billing, invoicing, sales update, revenue/accounting entries, and related financial integration.
• Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including purchasing, receipt accounting, voucher processing, payments, and GL integration.
• Support period-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reconciliations, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, integrity reports, and issue resolution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex functional and accounting issues and collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, reports, and enhancements.
• Prepare clear functional specifications for technical development and ensure delivered solutions meet business and accounting requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and perform/support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support cutover planning, data validation, deployment, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Work closely with business users, technical teams, integration teams, and external partners to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Manage multiple projects, enhancements, and support priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, controls, and continuous improvement using JDE capabilities and industry best practices.
• Prepare process documentation, solution documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documents.
• Deliver functional training and provide guidance to business users and support teams.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned solutions from requirements through successful implementation and production support.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance functional experience in implementation, enhancement, rollout, and production support environments.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes, including journal processing, accruals, allocations, reconciliations, financial close, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and their integration with Finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, including subledger-to-GL reconciliation, integrity reporting, period close, and year-end close activities.
• Good understanding of tax determination, tax accounting, tax calculation, and statutory/tax reporting processes.
• Experience analyzing functional issues, identifying root causes, and designing sustainable solutions.
• Ability to prepare high-quality functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, configuration documents, and user documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex financial and transactional data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage Finance users, business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within global and cross-functional teams.
• Strong ownership, initiative, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with European statutory and tax requirements, including country-specific tax reporting and compliance processes.
• Experience with E-Invoicing / Electronic Invoicing solutions and integration with JDE.
• Experience with Vertex or similar third-party tax determination solutions.
• Strong understanding of Intercompany Order Processing, including related financial and accounting flows.
• Experience supporting multi-company, multi-currency, and global JDE environments.
• Experience with interfaces and integrations between JDE and external financial, banking, tax, EDI, or reporting systems.
• Experience working on global JDE implementations, upgrades, rollouts, or Finance transformation programs.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8–10+ years of relevant JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance functional experience.
• Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0, 9.1, and/or 9.2 is preferred.
• Accounting or Finance qualifications/certifications would be an added advantage.
