Angular – Front End Developer

Location: Chennai
Experience: 5+ Years

Summary:

UST is looking for anAngular – Front End Developer with strong experience inAngular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Docker. The role involves designing and developing responsive user interfaces, building backend services, containerizing applications, and collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The candidate should also have exposure toGenerative AI frameworks/APIs and modern cloud-native technologies.

The Opportunity:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implementresponsive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintainRESTful or GraphQL APIs using Python with frameworks such asFlask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Containerize applications and services usingDocker.
• Write and maintainDockerfiles and manage container images.
• Collaborate withProduct, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot and resolveperformance, scalability, and security issues in production systems.
• Work inAgile/Scrum environments and follow best development practices.
• UseGit for source code management and collaborative development.
• Ensure applications meet requirements forHTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work withGenerative AI frameworks and APIs where applicable.

What you need:

• 5+ years of professional experience withAngular and modernJavaScript/TypeScript.
• 5+ years of experience building backend services usingPython.
• Hands-on experience withDocker, including writing Dockerfiles and running containers in development/CI workflows.
• Familiarity withGenerative AI frameworks or APIs, such asOpenAI GPT and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong understanding ofHTTP, web security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Comfortable working inAgile/Scrum environments.
• Good experience withGit version control.

• Familiarity with observability tools such asPrometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Experience withGenerative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled applications.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
