UST is looking for a talentedPython Developer with 4-6 years of experience in application development, automation, and modern AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Node.js, scripting, RESTful services, databases, and test automation frameworks, along with exposure to Azure OpenAI and Large Language Model (LLM) services.

As aPython Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications and automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products, leverage AI technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and Node.js.
• Build and enhance backend services using Flask and Django frameworks.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and Batch scripting.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations.
• Work with Azure OpenAI and other LLM services to build intelligent solutions.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Pytest and Squish.
• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design and optimize database interactions with relational and non-relational databases.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation initiatives.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Python application development.
• Strong development experience in Python and Node.js.
• Experience with Flask and Django frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Batch scripting.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Pytest and Squish.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Programming knowledge in C.
• Experience integrating Azure OpenAI and other LLM services into applications.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and development best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in Python development and application engineering.
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled applications and LLM integrations is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Python, Cloud, AI, or Automation technologies are an added advantage.
