Lead Enterprise Architect

• Design and implement end-to-end lifecycle management strategies for corporate hardware assets, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, meeting room equipment, and peripherals.

• Ensure alignment with business needs, budgets, and vendor capabilities across the procurement and deployment process.

• Architect solutions for seamless distribution, ongoing maintenance, refresh cycles, and timely decommissioning of all hardware devices.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

• Develop and lead the VDI estate, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient virtual desktop environments.
• Extensive experience in Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) / Azure Virtual Desktop setup, configuration, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and its integration with WVD.
• Proficient in managing and optimizing VM performance, utilization, and cost.
• Implement VDI security best practices, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Diagnose and resolve complex VDI issues related to network, storage, performance, and user access.

Operational Excellence

• Create and maintain best practices for device management, including provisioning, patch management, compliance, and troubleshooting.
• Drive adoption of modern management tools and automation strategies to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with technology vendors, hardware partners, and service providers.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure device standards meet organizational expectations.

Safety & Compliance

• Advocate for operational safety and digital security in all architectures, designs, and processes.
• Develop and implement security policies, compliance standards, and governance practices for device management.

Team Leadership

• Play a key role in building and enhancing team capabilities through effective delegation, motivation, and trust.
• Act as a technology mentor, guiding teams and influencing leaders toward modern device strategies.

Relationships & Collaboration

• 10 years total experience, including 10 years in device architecture, end-user computing, or device lifecycle management.
• Proven expertise in Architecture & System Design for scalable and reliable device environments.
• Strong understanding of technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, and modern device management frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience managing device lifecycles in large enterprise environments, preferably with hardware vendors like Client.
• Hands-on experience managing VDI estates and related performance/security optimization.
• Excellent knowledge of tools such as Intune, SCCM, and VMware Workspace ONE.

Technology Evaluation & Integration

• Ability to assess and select suitable tools, platforms, and technologies for device development and operations.
• Experience in hardware-software integration and prototype development for new concepts.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Create detailed architecture documents, implementation guidelines, and design decisions.

• Ensure all device architectures meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.

Innovation

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance device architecture and operational strategies.

Mentorship

• Provide technical guidance and support to platform teams, engineers, and digital security teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with multiple device management tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in device management aligned with environmental responsibility goals.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Certifications like ITIL, PMP, or equivalent.

Desired Skills
