Lead Development Analyst

Summary:

• Duration: Full-time
• Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Strong involvement in the design of server components and development in Java.
• Plan software releases and provide 2nd level support for applications.
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to interpret business requirements and create system design.
• Develop test cases to thoroughly test the codebase.
• Apply software engineering best practices to produce high-quality applications.
• Take initiative and work productively when unsupervised, multitasking across multiple projects.

Technical Qualification:

• Minimum 10 years of experience with Java development.
• Extensive experience in building distributed/microservice-style and cloud-based architectures (Amazon, ECS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful service implementations.
• Experience with rational databases like Oracle, SQLServer.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Shell.
• Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Sonar Cube, BitBucket.
• Strong understanding of different storage architectures.
• Experience building modern Spring applications with Spring Boot.
• Experience in software development SDLC (Agile).
• Excellent knowledge of multithreading, thread-pools with strong OOP and OOAD skills.
• Experience in developing real-time low latency applications.
• Exposure to or experience in message-driven architectures, including Kafka, EMS.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior investment banking risk system experience.
• Experience in message broker.
• Exposure to Clojure is a plus.

Educational/Certification Background:

• Graduate/postgraduate with a degree in computer science or mathematics.
• Good communication, presentation, and written skills.
