About The Job:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer with extensive experience in Data Warehousing, Cloud Data Platforms, Data Architecture, ETL/ELT Development, Business Intelligence, and Analytics Modernization.
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, SQL Server, and Data Warehouse Modernization initiatives.
• The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data platforms, leading cloud migrations, implementing governance frameworks, and enabling enterprise analytics solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
• Lead cloud migration projects from traditional on-premise platforms to modern cloud ecosystems.
• Architect and implement Bronze-Silver-Gold Medallion Architecture for scalable analytics.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and curation pipelines.
• Build robust ETL/ELT frameworks using modern cloud technologies.
• Define data models, data standards, and enterprise data architecture principles.
• Develop solutions using Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Databricks.
• Implement scalable data processing workflows using PySpark and Delta Lake.
• Support lakehouse and data mesh initiatives.
• Enable Direct Lake and semantic layer implementations within Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and develop enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Create semantic models, datasets, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governed self-service analytics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements.
• Establish data governance standards, data lineage, and metadata management practices.
• Develop data quality frameworks and monitoring mechanisms.
• Collaborate with governance teams to implement enterprise-wide data policies.
• Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and YAML.
• Automate deployments, testing, and monitoring processes.
• Utilize Python, PowerShell, and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design workshops.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Work closely with business users, architects, product owners, and leadership teams.
• Drive Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
