Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst with strong expertise in large-scale data analysis, reporting, and query optimization. The role focuses on extracting insights from complex datasets, supporting business decisions, and working with financial domain data. This position requires strong analytical skills with limited involvement in data modeling activities.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends and business insights
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
Support performance tuning and issue resolution for data systems
Work with multiple structured and semi-structured data formats
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver insights

Mandatory Skills

Strong experience inSQL (advanced query building and optimization)
Hands-on experience withPython for data analysis
Experience working withlarge-scale data environments
Strong understanding ofdata formats: XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, Protobuf

Domain Expertise

Experience inFinancial Services domain
Understanding ofFinancial Instruments (Derivatives preferred)

Tools & Productivity

Experience leveraging AI tools such asChatGPT, Copilot, or similar for data analysis and reporting
