Job Description
Role – Murex Back Office & MXML Specialist/ SMETechnology – Murex Back Office, MXML and Workflow
Location – Utrecht/Amsterdam
Role summary
We are looking for an experiencedMurex BO & MXML SME with strong expertise inMurex Back Office, MXML and workflows. The role requires deep knowledge of back-office operations, including confirmations and settlements, along with hands-on MXML configuration and support experience.
The successful candidate will work across development and production support in anAgile/DevOps environment, supporting Murex solutions across key asset classes such asFX, Money Markets (MM) and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise acrossMurex Back Office, MXML and workflow configurations.
- Configure, maintain and supportMXML interfaces and workflows.
- Support Murex Back Office processes, particularlyconfirmations and settlements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Murex BO and MXML-related production issues.
- Provide ongoingproduction support and contribute to a DevOps way of working.
- Support development, configuration, testing and maintenance activities within the Murex environment.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to investigate and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Participate inAgile/Scrum delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Support solutions across relevant asset classes, includingFX, Money Markets and IRD.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise inMurex Back Office (BO), MXML and workflow configuration.
- Strong understanding ofBack Office operations, particularly:
- Confirmations
- Settlements and settlement processes
- Hands-on experience inMXML configuration and support.
- Strong knowledge of financial asset classes, particularly:
- FX
- Money Markets (MM)
- Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD)
- Experience working inproduction support and aDevOps environment.
- Experience working withinAgile/Scrum methodologies.
- Willingness to work across both production support and development-related activities.
Nice to have
- Experience in Marketwire, Collateral Management module in Murex.
- Datamart experience
- Unix scripting and SQL Basics
- Collateral, Murex DataMart, Unix and sql
