Lead Consultant

Job Description

1. Lead the Commercial Billing workstream for Mexico and LATAM rollout programs.
2. Participate in fit-to-standard workshops and validate local business requirements against the global template.
3. Drive solution design, localization assessments, process harmonization, and deployment activities.
4. Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Billing, Invoicing, Pricing, Credit/Debit Memo, Returns, Intercompany Billing, and Sales Order Management processes.
5. Ensure seamless integration between Commercial, Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Logistics, Compliance, and electronic invoicing processes.
6. Lead SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
7. Manage business stakeholders and provide advisory support on SAP best practices.
8. Review and approve functional specifications, RICEFW objects, test scripts, and training materials.
9. Support data migration validation, customer master readiness, and business process readiness activities.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to onsite and offshore consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

1. 15-20 years of SAP consulting experience.
2. Minimum 8+ years of SAP SD experience with strong focus on Commercial Billing and O2C processes.
3. Multiple SAP implementation, rollout, or transformation project experiences.

1. Proven experience in SAP rollouts involving Mexico and LATAM localization requirements.
2. Strong understanding of Mexico and LATAM invoicing, fiscal, tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
3. Experience supporting country-specific localization requirements while adhering to global template governance.
4. Hands-on experience with electronic invoicing and digital compliance requirements across LATAM countries.
5. Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), SAP eDocument Framework, or integration with electronic invoicing providers such as EDICOM, Sovos, Gosocket, or equivalent solutions.
6. Strong understanding of Mexico CFDI requirements, including invoice generation, cancellations, credit/debit notes, fiscal validation, and regulatory compliance processes.
7. Experience supporting localization requirements for countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
8. Ability to assess localization gaps and define compliant SAP solutions while maintaining global template standards.
9. Experience collaborating with Tax, Finance, Compliance, and Regional Business teams during localization design, testing, and deployment.
10. Experience supporting legal and regulatory changes impacting billing, invoicing, customer master, and commercial processes.
11. Experience reviewing SAP OSS Notes related to localization, electronic invoicing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
12. Experience leading SIT and UAT testing for localization scenarios, including electronic invoicing, XML generation, invoice validation, invoice cancellations, rejection handling, and reconciliation activities.

6. Experience with SAP DRC (Document & Reporting Compliance).
7. Experience supporting LATAM electronic invoicing and localization solutions.
8. Experience with EDICOM, Sovos, Gosocket, or similar electronic invoicing providers.
9. Experience reviewing SAP OSS Notes related to localization and regulatory compliance requirements.
10. SAP Activate methodology.
11. Strong stakeholder and program management skills.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
2. SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) certification preferred.
