Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Concrete Estimator with strong hands-on expertise in independently preparing and pricing complete structural cast-in-place concrete bids, including foundations and superstructures.
Key Responsibilities
• Independently prepare and price complete concrete construction bids.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for foundations, slabs, and structural concrete superstructures.
• Estimate labor, materials, reinforcing steel (rebar), formwork, and equipment costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Develop accurate cost estimates and complete bid proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and validate project costs.
Required Qualifications
• Extensive hands-on experience in structural cast-in-place concrete estimating.
• Proven ability to independently prepare and price complete bids.
• Strong knowledge of foundations, superstructures, rebar, formwork, and concrete construction methods.
• Proficiency in quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and equipment cost estimation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
Ideal Candidate
A detail-oriented estimator who can independently manage the complete estimating process, from reviewing drawings and calculating quantities to pricing and preparing final bid proposals.
