Lead Business Analyst - Payments

We're looking for a seasonedLead Business Analyst to take ownership of product strategy and lead execution for platform capabilities across our payments ecosystem. The right candidate will connect business requirements with technical execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and deliver features successfully within a fast-moving, Agile setting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the product vision, Working Backwards document, and roadmap for one or more platform capabilities
• Define, prioritize, and manage product features, user stories, and backlog items
• Work with stakeholders to uncover customer needs, market opportunities, and areas for product enhancement
• Use business insights, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform product decisions
• Drive feature elaboration and requirements definition activities
• Represent the voice of the customer and champion business needs
• Develop strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Business teams
• Enable alignment and trade-off discussions, and shape product decisions
• Guide team members and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Oversee the product backlog, acceptance criteria, and feature prioritization
• Work in close collaboration with Engineering teams to ensure features are delivered successfully
• Run backlog grooming, sprint planning, and elaboration sessions

Requirements

• 10-15 years of overall IT experience, including managing technical or platform products within an Agile environment
• Strong background in Business Analysis, BRD, FRD, Stakeholder Management, and Risk Management
• Familiarity with product management, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and feature lifecycle management
• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable product features and user stories
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on APIs, cloud-native applications, microservices, or distributed systems
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Experience leading trade-off decisions across business, customer, operational, and technical priorities
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities
• Willingness to leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to enhance product management effectiveness
• Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks
• Experience within Payments, Open Banking, FinTech, Banking, or Disputes domains
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

• Experience overseeing high-volume transaction processing or platform products
• Experience establishing product KPIs, adoption metrics, and operational health measures
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery models
