Software Department team in Atlanta, GA is seeking a highly motivated, experiencedSenior Principal Embedded Software Engineerto be part of their team supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. Â
 What You Will Do:
- Participate in collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile system and software development operations to plan, specify, design, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
- Responsibilities include innovating creative implementations of new products and technologies, from architecture and design, through integration, lab test and field test.
- Collaborating effectively with other disciplines and senior technical staff, in addition to producing planning and technical work products for internal customers to form original solutions to complex problems.
- Developing software requirements derived from system level requirements, developing associated architectures, performing simulations and analysis and testing of the software in a laboratory setting.
- Work in an advanced product development team environment with systems, firmware, electrical and software engineers.
- Handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment including engagement with Systems and Electrical Engineers
- This position may require occasional business-related travel. Â
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in software design, integration and test utilizing C / C++.
- Experience with embedded microprocessor design, system on a chip software design, FPGAs, high-speed transceivers, DDR, flash memories, block diagrams, signal analyses and signal generation.
- Experience in all software lifecycle phases: software architecture, system/software requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification testing, system integration, and post-delivery maintenance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Existing Secret security clearance.
Electronic Warfare Electronic Attack/Electronic Support (EA/ES), Radar, or Secure Communications technology knowledge. - Lab experience in product testing using logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and system on chip debugging tools.
- Experience developing real-time applications on embedded platforms, including bare metal, embedded Linux, VxWorks and Windows environments.
- Experience with software algorithm development.
- Experience as technical / project lead
- Tool familiarity: Visual Studio, Workbench, Vitis, Git, Jira, Collaborator.
Experience with interfaces and bus standards such as: PCIe, VPX, Gb Ethernet, RoCE and OMS. - Experience with Radar technology, machine languages.
- Experienced in Agile development processes.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
