Program Background

DT Global has been engaged by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to manage the Building Community Engagement in Papua New Guinea (BCEP) Program. BCEP represents a significant investment in promoting participatory democracy in PNG, with a goal to strengthen citizen-government engagement for improved service delivery and provision of public goods.

The Role

The Disability-Inclusive Curriculum Specialistwill work with the Christian Leaders’ Training College (CLTC) to integrate disability inclusion into their existing courses and build the confidence of lecturers to deliver the content to their students.  It is anticipated that disability inclusive content may cover biblical/theological foundation for disability inclusion; inclusive pastoral care and counselling; accessible communication and worship practices; and referral pathways to disability services.

About You

Have tertiary qualifications in education, theology, disability studies and/or another relevant sector with demonstrated experience developing high-quality disability inclusive content for training materials then please check out this opportunity. Familiarity with churches, community development, or the education sector in PNG is desirable.
