Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) – Characterization – North-East France

To strengthen ourService – Characterization team in France, we are looking for aField Service Engineer (m/f/d) to cover theNorth-East region of France.

You will play a key role incustomer satisfaction, providing high-level technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service directly at customer sites.

Location: North-East France – ideally based in the Oise department (60)
Full-time – Permanent position
Field-based position – Remote work possible

Territory :

The position mainly covers the following departments:

02 – 08 – 21 – 25 – 39 – 51 – 54 – 57 – 58 – 59 – 60 – 62 – 67 – 68 – 70 – 71 – 77 – 80 – 89

Candidatesbased in the Oise department (60) or nearby are preferred, in order to facilitate travel throughout the territory.

As part of theService – Characterization team, and in accordance with Anton Paar's standards and procedures, your main responsibilities will include:

Technical Support & Field Service :

• Provide technical support to customers by phone, email, and directly on site.
• Install and commission instruments at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on site or in the workshop.
• Diagnose equipment issues and identify appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare the technical information required for repair quotations.
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with Anton Paar standards.
• Perform the required checks, calibrations, and inspections on equipment.

Service Follow-up & Quality :

• Record and update service activities, reports, and follow-up actions in the CRM.
• Ensure accurate follow-up of interventions and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that service tools and instruments are available, compliant, and properly maintained.
• Manage service spare parts and your personal stock of tools and equipment.

Internal Collaboration & Support :

• Work closely withApplication, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Administration teams.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, or renewal to the Sales team.
• Participate in technical training programs covering Anton Paar product ranges.
• Participate in telephone support according to the internal schedule.
• Occasionally provide backup support for other Field Service Engineers across France.

• Technical or scientific qualification of at leastBac +2 level or equivalent.
• Minimum3 years of experience in maintenance, field service, customer support, or technical equipment repair.
• Experience withscientific instrumentation or laboratory equipment would be a strong advantage.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, with a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer-service mindset.
• Ability to efficiently organize travel and service activities.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness totravel frequently throughout the North-East region of France.
• Candidates based in the Oise department (60) or nearby are preferred.
