Labs Associate

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules and technical procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong initiative and follow through.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team contributor.
• Must demonstrate a high level of customer service.
• Good computer skills: Client Office and SAP preferred.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment such as LabCorp, Quest, or a large hospital.
• Experience in fulfillment positions like Amazon or FedEx, or in food service.
• A recent Biology degree with fast-paced work history.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Check in couriers and manage sample intake processes.
• Unbag, barcode, and move samples around the lab.
• Load samples into analyzers and add samples into centrifuges.
• Swirl samples with a liquid chemical and pull samples from refrigerated storage.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and handle samples with PPE.
