Overview

As a Laborer/Welders helper, you’ll be a key player in our pipeline repair operations. You’ll assist in the manufacturing shop and installation of our specialty productPETROSLEEVE across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist Welders with dailytasks
• Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, andproduct
• Engage in all forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of fabrication, construction, and installation projects from start to finish
• Cleaning and organizing the shop andyard
• May perform other related duties asassigned

Experience

• High school diploma/GED required; Vocational Certification preferred.
• Experience in energy or oil gas, pipeline, and water & sewage industry a plus, - Mechanical training preferred.
• Two years of experience disassembling and maintaining mechanical components in a related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Travel regularly and stay overnight out oftown.
• Work up to 7 days a week depending on projectneeds
• Work in varying weather and environmentalconditions
• Lift and carry moderate loads as part of dailytasks
• Successfully pass and complete pre-employment drug and alcoholscreening
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcoholtesting
• Class 5 Drivers License (Non-GDL) is amust
• CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, ConfinedSpace tickets an asset
