As an L3 Windows technical expert, you will act as the ultimate point of escalation and design for our Windows-based endpoint ecosystem.
• You will be responsible for driving the evolution of our endpoint management strategy, seamlessly bridging the gap between legacy infrastructure and modern, cloud-native deployments.
Modern Management & Zero-Touch Deployment:
• You must possess profound, proven expertise in modern Windows management. A key focus of this role involves architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting Windows Autopilot workflows to ensure a seamless, zero-touch provisioning experience for end-users globally.
Legacy Systems & Co-Management:
• While our focus is strictly modern, maintaining business continuity is paramount. You must bring robust, hands-on experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) to oversee legacy deployments, complex application packaging, and co-management transition strategies.
Mandatory Certification:
• To validate your expertise in the Microsoft 365 endpoint ecosystem, the Microsoft Intune Administrator (MD-102) certification is strictly required for this position.
Secondary Skills:
• Security, Compliance & Automation
Beyond core management, this role requires a strong focus on securing the endpoint perimeter and automating operational tasks to drive efficiency across the ITH landscape.
Encryption & Threat Protection:
• You will play a critical role in enforcing L'Oréal's security compliance. This requires proven experience in enterprise-wide BitLocker encryption management. Additionally, you must be highly proficient with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including advanced configuration, compliance reporting, and active threat remediation.
Integration,
Scripting & Automation:
• We expect our L3 engineers to eliminate manual toil. You should demonstrate strong capabilities in leveraging the Microsoft Graph API, advanced PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Power Automate. Your skills here will be used to design automated workflows, integrate disjointed systems, and streamline complex IT processes.
Strategic Context & Tanium Commitment Disclaimer
Endpoint Security & Management (Tanium):
Tanium is a cornerstone of L'Oréal's endpoint visibility and control strategy. Mastery of this tool is absolutely critical for maintaining our stringent security baseline, and sufficient transition time is mandatory to secure this sensitive perimeter.
Core Competency & Strategic Implementation:
We expect the candidate to demonstrate the capacity to deploy, manage, and scale newly acquired Tanium modules within the L'Oréal ecosystem, ensuring we maximize the return on investment (ROI) of the platform.
Certification Requirements:
A minimum of Tanium Certified Operator (TCO) or Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) is highly desired.
Mandatory Ramp-Up Commitment:
We recognize that exceptional Windows engineers may not yet be Tanium experts. If you do not currently possess these specific Tanium skills or the required certification, you must formally commit to reaching the required operational level within the next 3 months.
Furthermore, a mandatory 2-month intensive ramp-up period will be enforced from your start date, during which you will be expected to achieve at least the TCA certification.
