Job Description

Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation Specialist (PPI Business System) will drive continuous improvement and digital transformation across Operations and support functions in Brno.

This hands-on role combines the Thermo Fisher Scientific PPI Business System and Lean methodologies with digital, automation and AI technologies to simplify processes, remove barriers and deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, delivery and employee experience.

The successful candidate will partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and lead solutions from concept through implementation, adoption and sustained business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across Operations, covering Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Understand current business processes, how users interact with key systems and identify opportunities for automation, and process improvement.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of digital tools and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, increase process efficiency, and improve visibility through automation.
• Cooperate across divisions to leverage existing solutions, standards, and best practices.
• Act as a bridge between Operations users, process owners and IT.
• Support user adoption and help teams effectively utilize new digital capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced with ERP, MES and PLM systems.
• Ability to translate operational needs into system and automation requirements.
• Comfortable working across different functions and international teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to independently drive improvement opportunities from idea through implementation.
• Experience with automation, workflow tools, and reporting
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
