Construction Manager - Rotterdam

ISS International Spa is looking for aConstruction Manager to be based at biorefinery in Rotterdam (Netherlands).

Main Responsibilities:

• To organize and lead, along with the relevant Superintendent/Supervisors, weekly meetings with the discipline Subcontractors;

• To participate to construction meeting with the Client;

• To promote Field revisions of the detailed Construction Schedule;

• To verify congruity of the works with technical specification;

• To verify material delivery schedule to coordinate construction activities and optimize the relevant schedule;

• With the collaboration of the Site Control Manager, to prepare detailed schedules and define priorities;

• To check that schedules are kept to and to promote recovery plans in case of delay;

• To coordinate all site activities, and interfaces between Disciplines, with the aim of limiting work overlaps;

• To assist and co-operate with the Supervisors in the ordinary management of subcontracts, in defining extra-works and in the execution of changes during the works;

• Together with the Commissioning Manager, to ensure congruence between the completion of Construction and Plant Pre-Commissioning;

• To collaborate with the Contract Engineer in preparing changes and claims;

• To prepare his own section of routine work progress reports;

• To perform discipline quality inspection according to the Inspection Plan and procedures in liaison with the QAE.

• To ensure the implementation of the HSE management system at site with reference to their area of operation.

  Initial remuneration / expected salary range: Indicative gross annual salary (RAL) between €70,000 and €80,000.

• Additional allowances: related to business travel and/or local mobility may also apply, subject to the contractual, tax, and organizational conditions established for the project. Remuneration and any additional allowances will be determined based on experience, skills, applicable job classification, and criteria that are objective and gender-neutral.
