We are looking for aCRM & Loyalty Architect with deep expertise inMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform to design and deliver best-in-class customer engagement solutions. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading architecture, implementation, and pre-sales activities across CRM and loyalty initiatives. You will combinearchitect-level technical expertise withclient-facing consulting skills, helping organizations transform their customer experience through scalable and innovative CRM ecosystems.

Your Job at Merkle:

• Lead the architecture and design of CRM & Loyalty solutions based onMicrosoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Insights) andPower Platform (Dataverse)

• Translate client business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing solution architectures

• Define and implement integration patterns betweenDynamics 365 / Dataverse and surrounding systems

• Lead or supportDynamics 365 migration programs, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy platforms

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client engagements, delivery projects, and pre-sales activities

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams

• Provide technical leadership and governance across the full delivery lifecycle

• Support solution design during RFPs, proposals, and client pitches

• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks

• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies for complex CRM implementations

• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft ecosystem innovations and industry trends

Your Skills for Merkle:

• Architect-level expertise inMicrosoft Dynamics 365, especially:

  • Dynamics 365 Sales

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Insights

  • Dataverse

• Understanding and hands on experience with variousAzure service, mainly Service bus, Event hub or Azure Functions

• Hands on experience withdifferent migration tools and ETLs (i.e. Azure Data Factory, KingswaySoft)

• Strong knowledge ofCRM architecture principles, including data models, security, and scalability

• Proven experience withintegration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 migrations and transformation programs

• Experience working in client-facing roles, including workshops, stakeholder management, and advisory

• Familiarity withSuccess by Design methodology

• Experience and knowledge of running discovery workshops with customers from different industries

• Ability to contribute to pre-sales and business development activities

• Strong understanding of end-to-end CRM and customer engagement ecosystems

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience withSalesforce or other CRM platforms (strong plus)

• Experience inmulti-system landscapes and enterprise architecture

• Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365, Azure)

Languages

• Excellent communication skills inboth German and English
