What does the function of CAMEngineer /Programmer entail 

In thisposition you will work in the Work Preparation department. The realization of new products starts here! On the basis of technical drawings and specifications that we receive from our customers, the working method, workingorder and the processing conditions of the product are determined. Youdetermine the routing of the product across the various departments and machines and record it. You look at the clamping, tool lists,molds and CNC programs per operation. 

Furthermore, youare responsible for: 

• The preparation of production orders and the guidance of these orders during the production process. 

• Writing CNC programs in Top Solid 7; 

• The coordination with thequality department during the production process. 

• The coordination and optimization of different operations. 

Are you our CAMEngineer /Programmer?  

You are an expert in the field of machining, in particular CNCturning, and you havea good technical insight. You are ambitious to work within a high-tech environment where people work withvery smalltolerances, and you have a proactive and flexible work attitude. Furthermore, you have: 

• A completedBacheloreducation in MechanicalEngineering or similar

• At least7 years of experience with CNCmilling, of which 5 years in a similarCAMposition. 

• Experience with CAM systems and macro programming (for machining centers and rotary-milling combinations); 

• Knowledge of materials, machining technology, clampingtechnology and CNCproduction. 

• Knowledge of Siemens 840D control is a valuable advantage.
