Principal Delivery Manager (Financial Services)

EPAM Greece is seeking a Greek-speakingPrincipal Delivery Manager to join our team and work with local Financial Services accounts.

This position involves owning delivery outcomes, building customer relationships, contributing to business development efforts, structuring delivery teams, and managing financial performance. The role calls for regular on-site visits to client offices in Athens (2–3 times weekly), with mandatory language skills in Greek at C1 level and English at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivery for one or multiple accounts, driving project success, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Structure delivery teams and launch new projects, confirming the right talent, skills, and setup are in place
• Directly handle select key projects, personally managing delivery, risk mitigation, scheduling, quality control, and stakeholder communications
• Work alongside Managers and Client Partners to secure successful outcomes and build lasting client relationships
• Drive delivery ownership for both new and existing accounts, including launching new accounts and engaging in consultative sales
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and manage ongoing customer relationships
• Contribute to business development initiatives and assist with financial planning and oversight
• Supervise delivery workflows, project execution, risk factors, and quality benchmarks
• Participate in presales activities and consultative selling spanning various technologies
• Deliver high-level architectural guidance and support SDLC frameworks for technically complex initiatives
• Conduct regular visits to Athens-based client offices to sustain strong engagement
• Remain flexible across different account structures, whether new, existing, or a mix of both
• Partner with internal teams to boost project outcomes and enhance value delivered to clients

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years managing software projects within enterprise environments, handling project budgets above $1M per year
• At least 10 years of overall experience in the software implementation sector
• Background in presales and consultative selling across a range of technologies
• Fluency in Greek at C1 level
• Working proficiency in English at B2 level
• Prior experience as a Delivery Manager establishing SDLC processes and offering architectural guidance (a plus)
• Familiarity with local Financial Services organizations (a plus)
