Senior Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion Financials

We're seeking aSenior Functional Consultant to join our team in a specialist capacity within a fast-paced Fintech environment. This position operates at the crossroads of finance, technology, and business transformation, requiring a professional who can evaluate project-level changes, assess their financial implications, and convert complex insights into clear, business-ready documentation.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Commerce, Finance, and Integration — to ensure project initiatives undergo early and accurate financial impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor integration errors, fallouts, and issues flowing from source systems into Oracle AR
• Evaluate new and ongoing Commerce project initiatives to determine whether they have a finance system or accounting impact
• Conduct structured financial analysis where impacts are identified, covering revenue recognition, tax treatment, billing, and/or intercompany considerations as applicable
• Create clear, concise one-page business summaries for each impacted initiative, helping non-technical stakeholders grasp financial implications and required actions
• Leverage hands-on Oracle Fusion expertise to evaluate downstream effects on GL, AR, AP, or related modules stemming from Commerce changes
• Work alongside integration teams to understand data flows and system-level changes that could trigger finance impacts
• Deliver findings to Finance leads and business owners in a structured, professional format, spotlighting risks, dependencies, and recommended next steps
• Support broader finance transformation initiatives by applying experience gained from previous programs

Requirements

• 5-8 years of overall professional experience
• 5+ years working in finance systems, finance operations, or ERP implementation/support roles within complex organizations
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, including modules such as AR, AP, Tax, and Revenue Management, with the ability to independently assess configuration and process impacts
• Background in complex, large-scale transformation programs, having navigated system migrations, re-platforming, or major process redesigns while managing ambiguity
• Proven capability to evaluate project initiatives for finance impact, going beyond system-level effects to understand accounting, reporting, and compliance consequences
• Excellent documentation skills, with a track record of condensing complex technical and financial findings into concise, business-friendly one-pagers and executive summaries
• Prior experience collaborating with integration teams, including reviewing integration designs, data flows, and API/file-based interfaces to pinpoint finance touchpoints
• Fintech or SaaS company background strongly preferred, with familiarity in subscription billing, revenue recognition complexity, or high-volume transaction environments
