At Allegro MicroSystems, we are "One Allegro"—collaborating globally to lead the world toward a safer, more sustainable, and autonomous future. As aPlanning Assistant based at Allegro MicroSystems Philippines, Inc. (AMPI), you will provide advanced, highly diversified administrative and operational support to the Planning and Production Control department.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will act as a proactive partner in managing critical data preparation, executing essential system transactions, and maintaining compliance across administrative functions. This role handles complex, time-sensitive, and confidential duties requiring a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing systems, organizational policies, and operational practices.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
Data Management & Production Reporting
- WIP & Inventory Reporting: Retrieve and download Work-in-Process (WIP) reports, converting them into structured Excel worksheets to distribute to the Planning team and key support groups for daily tracking.
- Oracle Reporting: Generate specialized Oracle ERP reports (including inventory status, grind, cycle time, Planned Completion Dates (PCD), and operation-specific metrics) to support strategic decision-making.
- Report Auditing: Rigorously review and verify the accuracy of all administrative and system reports before distributing them to the broader Production Group.
Oracle ERP & Transactional Execution
- Subcontractor Releases: Facilitate subcontracted production runs by releasing lot starts and sending official Inventory Operations (INOP) instructions to various OSAT/subcontractor sites.
- System Transactions: Perform manual inventory receipt transactions in Oracle based on invoice documentation, manage Oracle lot terminations for approved scrap/leftover items, and update Planned Completion Dates (PCD) under the direction of Planners.
- Shipping & Logistics Administration: Execute Online Shipping Orders and process Internal Sales Orders in Oracle to ensure seamless, fully transacted shipments to other global sites.
- Assembly Monitoring: Track real-time assembly statuses, providing planners with highly accurate, lot-by-lot tracking updates.
Departmental Operations & Compliance
- Document Control: Ensure the rigorous maintenance, archiving, and organization of all controlled, confidential, and historical reports (including ERRS). Coordinate directly with the Document Control Center (DCC) for secure transfers.
- Operational Tracking: Compile, reconcile, and tally actual physical runcards on a weekly basis.
- Facilities & IT Liaison: Oversee the procurement of office and planning supplies, submit Service Desk requests for software/hardware issues to IT & Smart Manufacturing, and coordinate plant facility work orders.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process optimizations, system enhancements, and administrative methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
What You Will Bring (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year course) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of directly related administrative, data-entry, or operations support experience, ideally within a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Oracle ERP Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of Oracle transactions, inventory routing, and report generation.
- Excel Expertise: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data conversion, sorting, formatting, and analysis.
- Core Competencies:
- Autonomy & Proactivity: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple time-sensitive tasks, and anticipate the needs of a large planning team.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in data entry and report auditing to prevent upstream shipping and scheduling errors.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal groups (IT, Facilities, DCC, OSATs).
