About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager with cybersecurity experience and a strong technical foundation to own major product areas across Kodem’s AppSec platform.

You’ll lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end - from strategy and roadmapping through technical exploration, execution, customer validation, rollout, and iteration.

This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, software development, runtime environments, and AI. You’ll work closely with engineering, UX, security research, and customer-facing teams to turn complex security challenges into simple, scalable products.

We’re also looking for someone who is genuinely AI-native - someone who understands the evolving AI landscape and actively uses AI and agents to research, analyze, prototype, validate, and move faster.

Responsibilities

• Own major product areas from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Define product vision, priorities, and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Develop a deep understanding of AppSec challenges, security workflows, development environments, and emerging threats.
• Work directly with customers - from AppSec and engineering teams to CISOs - to discover problems, validate solutions, and gather ongoing feedback.
• Partner with UX and engineering to turn complex technical concepts into intuitive product experiences.
• Drive alignment across R&D, UX, Sales, CSM, Support, and Marketing.
• Define KPIs and product analytics to measure outcomes and guide prioritization.
• Analyze the cybersecurity and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities.
• Create clear PRDs, specifications, and product documentation.
• Use AI tools and agents throughout the product development process and explore opportunities for AI-powered and agentic product capabilities.
• Serve as a product and domain expert and help strengthen product practices across the team.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience building complex B2B technical products.
• Product experience in cybersecurity or a closely related security domain.
• Proven experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of modern software development, SDLC, APIs, CLI, cloud and self-hosted environments, system architecture, logs, and developer workflows.
• Practical product experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments, including workloads, clusters, deployment models, and security implications.
• Ability to work deeply with engineers, architects, and security researchers and meaningfully contribute to technical discussions.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
• Proven customer discovery and validation experience with technical users and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and turn complex problems into clear product direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High ownership, curiosity, and a startup mindset.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents, with hands-on experience using them in day-to-day product work.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct AppSec product experience, including SAST, SCA, vulnerability management, software supply-chain security, or runtime security.
• Experience with enterprise deployment models such as air-gapped, hybrid, multi-cloud, or large-scale self-hosted environments.
• Development, engineering, or security research background.
• Experience delivering products to large enterprises or regulated environments.
• Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or agentic product capabilities.
