In this diverse role, you will take responsibility for the procurement of key raw materials and packaging materials, support the further development of our purchasing strategy, and lead cross-site projects within the Kolb Group.
Your Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of a forward-looking procurement strategy
- Independently lead price, contract, and supplier negotiations for the Moerdijk (NL) production site
- Monitor and analyze forecasts and conduct actual-versus-target evaluations across the Kolb Group
- Manage contracts within the SAP MM module, with a particular focus on the Moerdijk site
- Support and further develop the contract management tool
- Ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging materials
- Contribute to the development of contingency and supply security concepts
- Act as the operational deputy to the Team Lead Chemical Procurement
- Lead and coordinate cross-site procurement projects
- Manage the strategic and operational sourcing of packaging materials for the Kolb Group
- Serve as a member of the SAP MM Core Team- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent higher professional qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the chemical industry
- Proven track record in international price and contract negotiations
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MM
- Experience in contract and supplier management
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- High level of initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- Project management experience and the ability to provide functional leadership to project teams
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; Dutch and/or German is an advantage
- Strategic mindset with strong cross-functional thinking
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and professional stakeholder management
- High degree of resilience and flexibility
- Enjoy working in an international environment
- Willingness to travel approximately 4-6 times per year (plants, suppliers, trade fairs)
