Salary Range:Â $56,000 - 72,000

How You'll Make an Impact:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure quality food production and service excellence.
- Supervise, coach, train, and support kitchen team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management activities.
- Coordinate daily food preparation and service activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal delivery.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and storage of food and supplies.
- Support food cost management efforts by minimizing waste and promoting operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate records related to food safety, inventory, training, and operational requirements.
- Address customer needs and implement solutions to enhance the dining experience.
- Support catering services, special events, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food service, catering, healthcare, hospitality, or restaurant environment, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team while fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Ability to coordinate daily kitchen operations, delegate responsibilities, and maintain high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, food cost controls, and waste reduction practices is an asset.
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a kitchen environment.
