Maintenance Team Member

Kiski School, a college-preparatory co-educational boarding school in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Team Member to join our facilities team. This individual will play a vital role in the daily upkeep of the school’s campus—including dormitories, academic buildings, athletic facilities, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance around campus 
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry. 
• Assist with campus event setup and breakdown (furniture moving, equipment transport, etc.).
• Support seasonal facilities work, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency repair needs, especially those involving electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and school policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Experience in general building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certifications in additional areas (plumbing, HVAC , etc.) a plus.
• Experience working in a school, campus, or residential facility setting.
