Job Summary

• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• Shift time: 7am to 4pm
• Floating when needed, mileage reimbursement offered

Overview

TheMedical Assistantperforms patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience

• One year of clinical/administrative experiencerequired
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalentrequired

Certification/Licensure

Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs:

• CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or
• CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or
• RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or
• EMT- Emergency Medical Technician

BLS isrequiredwithin 90 days of hire.
