Managed Services Intern

Job Description:

As aManaged Services Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting mission-critical systems used by container terminals around the world. 

You will rotate across areas includingApplication Support, EDI, BI, Infrastructure, Monitoring & Diagnostics, while also actively developingAI and Automation solutions that improve how Managed Servicesoperates. 

This is not a shadowing-only internship. You will be expected tolearn,contribute and build solutions that deliver measurable value during the six-month program. 

WhatYou’ll Do 

• Learn tomonitor,troubleshoot and support theN4 Terminal Operating System and supporting technologies. 

• Assist with incidents, system alerts, EDI, infrastructure, BI and operational troubleshooting. 

• Work with monitoring and diagnostic tools toidentify problems and trends. 

• Support documentation,runbooks and knowledge management. 

• Participate in testing and deployment of technical changes. 

• Work alongside experienced engineers while gradually taking ownership of operational tasks. 

AI & Automation Development 

A key part of the internship will beidentifying and deliveringAI and automation improvements for Managed Services. 

You will be expected to: 

• Develop practicalAI, automation or scripting solutions using tools such as Python, APIs, AIcopilots and workflow automation. 

• Automate repetitive operational and support activities. 

• Apply AI to areas such aslog analysis, incident investigation, health checks, documentation, alertanalysis and root-cause identification. 

• Prototype and testnew ideas with the Managed Services team. 

• Deliver at least one practicalAI or automation solution/use case that creates measurable operational value during the internship. 

• Follow security, dataprivacy and responsible AI standards. 

Who You Are 

• Recent graduate inComputer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science,Engineering or a related field. 

• Curious, technicallyminded and comfortable solving problems. 

• Interested inAI,automation and enterprise technology. 

• Willing to learn quickly and take ownership. 

• Good written and verbal English communication skills. 

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a global team. 

Experience withPython, SQL, Linux, APIs, Power BI, Git/GitHub, cloud technologies, AItools or automation isadvantageous but notrequired. 

What Success Looks Like 

By the end of the six-month internship, you should have: 

• Built a solid foundation in enterprise Managed Services. 

• Gained practical experience supporting real customer environments. 

• Developed skills across operations,troubleshooting and customer support. 

• Designed,developed anddemonstrated AI/automation solutions that improve efficiency,quality or customer outcomes. 

• Identified an area for continued development into a future Managed Services role.
