What You Will Experience in this Position Â
Your experience as a Packaging Engineering Co-Op goes beyond the day-to-day of your role. In addition to the support of your manager, you can expect to grow and develop through exposure to leadership, engaging in development opportunities, and networking with other early career professionals. Â
Training & Development: Training and development is provided throughout your internship through on-the-job experiences and structured learning opportunities, fostering the development of business acumen and leadership skills at a global organization.Â

A peer-led committee helps to organize social,professional and service-related activities and events for interns and early career professionals. As a Packaging EngineeringCo-Op you will get to:Â Â
Build strong relationships with keyplatform and functional partnersin order to support new product launches and continuous improvement opportunities.Â
Conduct and/or manage packaging testing, trials, and analyses tovalidate and advance packaging opportunities.Â
Lead collaborations with cross-functional partners to develop packaging solutions that balance cost, quality, and delivery targets.Â
Provide effective communication and documentation of work including test reports, cost analyses, and 2D/3D CAD concepts.Â
Develop technical packaging material knowledge of a wide variety of materials and applications.Â
Lead multiple projects in a cross-functional environment while delivering positive, effective results.Â
Apply engineering principles and statistics to solve problems and make data-driven decisions. Â

Interns and Co-ops are paid $25.00 per hour for time workedÂ
Relocation and housing support is available for eligible candidates   Â
Interns and Co-ops receive paid time off, paid sick time, paid volunteer time, and paid holidays  Â
Interns and Co-ops whodemonstrate outstanding performance may be offered asubsequent internship/co-op or full-time offer of employment with nVent   Â

YOU HAVE:Â
Required Qualifications:Â
PursuingBachelor’s degree in Packaging, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, IndustrialEngineering or relatedfield.Â
Juniors and Seniors preferred(Graduating betweenMay2028 – June 2029) Â
CAD experienceÂ

Previous experience in or with Packaging Design/Engineering for industrial products/applicationsÂ
Design for ManufacturingÂ
ASTM or ISTA test standards and proceduresÂ
