Junior Financial Analyst

• Assists on contract budgets preparation, budget modifications, contract amendments, contract closeout, and other contract management matters
• Prepares and submits monthly or quarterly vouchers to government funders, works with funding agencies on invoice revision, approval and payment disbursement as needed
• Assists on monthly contract and program budget reports preparation
• Assists on grant budget and budget modification, and grant reports. 
• Reviews general ledger to ensure proper recording and allocation of the expense for each contract, grant and program. Collaborates with Finance and Programs to make necessary adjustments as needed. 
• Works with Finance to ensure proper recording of contract and grant revenue and other program income under the supervision of VP of FPNA
• Keeps tracking and reconciles contract receivables, refundable advances, and temp restricted revenues under the supervision of VP of FPNA
• Maintain master contract and grant list and master program budget under the supervision of AP of FPNA
• Under the direction of VP of FPNA, prepares variety of financial reports and analysis to support program operation and senior management decision making
• Assists with funder audits and annual year-end audit under the supervision of AP of FPNA

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirement(s)

Applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant field combined with experience. Experience in federal, New York State and New York City grants/contracts administration preferred.
