WHAT YOUR NEW JOB WILL BE ABOUT

As a Junior Department Manager you are going to have a supportive role for your team colleagues and besides that you are

• Actively monitoring and supporting daily operations
• Collaborating with shift leaders daily and supporting their work
• Monitoring daily results and KPIs, identifying deviations
• Monitoring staffing levels and capacity daily, coordinating staff reassignments as needed
• Participating in daily operational meetings; later, independently leading certain meetings
• Collaborating with other departments and support functions
• Monitoring safety and compliance with defined workflows
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and independently managing minor improvements/projects
• Gradually taking over specific DM tasks
• Ensuring the right communication within the responsible team and with other departments, stakeholders of DCE
• Making sure the information is cascaded to all level of the organization, you and team leaders tell, listen and act lead by JYSK values
• Using your right to speak up and encourage employees to do so

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Understanding of KPIs, can link actions to goals
• You are easily grasp complex warehouse/logistics processes and quickly acquire new knowledge
• Ability to create team spirit through high energy and motivation
• The skill to develop staff and secure best practice in the department
• The ability to analyze quickly situations, react with urgency and take the responsibility
• Role model attitude and natural skill to take the lead in all situations
• Assertive communication skills, able to give over message to different skilled employees
• Ability work in team but able to plan, prioritize and make independent decisions in a busy and fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to develop yourself and the drive and ambition to grow
• Very good command of written and verbal English and Hungarian
• Very good computer literacy (MS Office, WMS, ERP)
• Previous leadership or shift supervisor experience is a plus
