Job Description

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our client's data infrastructure, creating insightful analytics dashboards, and ensuring proper implementation of tracking solutions. You will work closely with our marketing team to support data-driven campaigns and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between various systems.

• Create and manage comprehensive dashboards and reports using Google Data Studio to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Implement and manage tracking tags using Google Tag Manager across different marketing channels.

• Configure and maintain event tracking codes across digital platforms to monitor user interactions and engagement metrics.

• Perform regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand their data requirements and provide technical support for data-driven campaigns.

• Stay current with industry trends and continuously expand knowledge in data engineering and digital marketing analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a huge plus.

• 1-3 years of experience in a data-related role within marketing, advertising, or digital agency is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, and event tracking implementation.

• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other relevant scripting languages.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.

• Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and online advertising platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.
