Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Content Designer / UX Writer to support the development of intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences for networking products. This individual will help create clear, concise, and consistent content that enables users to understand and interact with networking devices and related digital interfaces.

The ideal candidate has foundational UX writing or content design experience and a working understanding of networking technology and devices. They will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and technical subject matter experts to simplify technical concepts and improve the overall product experience.

This is an onsite opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow their UX content design skills while working with enterprise networking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and refine user-facing content for digital product interfaces, including labels, buttons, tooltips, notifications, error messages, and onboarding instructions.

• Help simplify networking terminology and technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand language.

• Support content development for networking device setup, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting workflows.

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and technical teams to align content with user needs and product functionality.

• Review interface content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and usability.

• Follow established content guidelines, terminology standards, and product voice and tone.

• Assist with organizing content within user flows, navigation structures, and product interfaces.

• Incorporate feedback from design reviews, usability testing, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Help maintain content documentation and design system standards.

• Work with technical subject matter experts to validate networking terminology and ensure content accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in UX writing, content design, digital product content, technical communication, or a related field.

• Exposure to networking devices or networking technology products is required.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts and familiarity with devices such as routers, switches, wireless access points, or related network equipment.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Familiarity with digital product interfaces and user-centered design principles.

• Experience working with design or collaboration tools such as Figma.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical product terminology.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and incorporate feedback.

• Availability to work onsite and collaborate directly with product and design teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting networking products, IT infrastructure tools, or enterprise software.

• Familiarity with device setup, network configuration, monitoring, or troubleshooting workflows.

• Exposure to usability testing, UX research, accessibility, or content design systems.

• Experience creating microcopy, onboarding content, in-product instructions, or help content.

• Familiarity with Agile or other iterative product development environments.

• A portfolio or work samples demonstrating UX writing, content design, or digital product communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an early-career UX writer or content designer who combines strong writing fundamentals with an interest in networking technology. They should be comfortable learning technical concepts, collaborating with designers and engineers, and helping make complex networking products easier to understand and use.

Candidates with exposure to networking devices or networking products are strongly preferred over candidates whose experience is limited to marketing copy, general website content, or consumer applications.
