Junior Buyer – Engineering Services & Contracts

ISS International S.p.A. is looking for a Junior Buyer – Engineering Services & Contracts to join an international Oil & Gas engineering project based in New Cairo, Egypt.

The opportunity is intended for anEgyptian professional with at least 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Contract Management, Tendering or similar roles, gained within theOil & Gas, EPC, Energy, Engineering or Construction sectors.

The selected candidate will support theProcurement / Purchasing team in activities related tothe procurement of engineering services, supplier management, tendering, commercial evaluations, purchase orders and contract administration.

The resource will contribute to the preparation and management of procurement documentation, collection and evaluation of supplier quotations, coordination of technical and commercial clarifications, preparation of purchase orders and contracts, and monitoring of procurement activities in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.

• Position: Junior Buyer – Engineering Services & Contracts;

• Location: New Cairo, Egypt, with possible smart working according to business needs;

• Expected Starting Date: 01/11/2026;

• Duration: approximately 2.5 months, until15/01/2027, with high possibility of extension according to business needs;

• Working Schedule: up to 8 hours/day, up to 5 days/week;

• Rotation: N/A – Resident position;

• Contract: Consultant Agreement with ISS International S.p.A., Rome, Italy;

• Rate:EUR 93 per worked day, all-inclusive.

The main activities may include:

• preparation and issuance ofRequests for Quotation (RFQs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and tender documentation;

• support in theprocurement of engineering services and related contracts;

• collection, analysis and comparison ofsupplier quotations and commercial proposals;

• preparation ofcommercial bid evaluations and recommendations;

• coordination with technical departments fortechno-commercial clarifications;

• preparation and management ofPurchase Orders (POs), service contracts and procurement documentation;

• support insupplier negotiations, contract administration and procurement follow-up;

• monitoring of procurement activities, supplier performance and contractual deadlines;

• coordination with engineering, project management and other departments to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Candidates should have a Degree inEngineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.

Previous professional experience withprocurement processes, RFQs, ITBs, tendering, commercial bid evaluations, purchase orders, contract administration, supplier management, SAP or other ERP systems will be considered particularly relevant.

Previous experience inOil & Gas, EPC, Energy or Engineering projects, particularly involving theprocurement of engineering services and contracts, will be considered a strong advantage.

The ideal candidate should have strongnegotiation, analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively withsuppliers, contracts, procurement documentation and multidisciplinary project teams.
