Junior BI Data Engineer

Position Overview

We’re seeking aJunior Business Intelligence (BI) Data Engineer to join our growing data team and play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure to power analytics and reporting across the organization. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable — enabling smarter, data-driven decisions.

The position is remote in Pakistan and with working hours Monday through Friday 4:00am ET to 1:00pm ET or similar schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintainscalable data pipelines inMicrosoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2) to support BI reporting and analytics.
• Develop and optimizemedallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for both structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders totranslate business requirements into scalable, high-performance data solutions.
• Ensuredata quality, consistency, and governance across multiple sources and systems.
• LeverageSQL and scripting languages (e.g.,PySpark) to transform, clean, and prepare data for dashboards and reports.
• Support theimplementation and integration of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Monitor performance and proactively troubleshoot issues across data pipelines and reporting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency inMicrosoft Fabric ecosystem (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2) andSQL.
• Experience working withmedallion architectures,data modeling, andETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and data governance best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation: 5,000,000 PKR - 7,000,000 PKR per year
