Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 11/02/2026 – 12/26/2026
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range - $28/hr - $30/hr.

Notes:

• Additional accounting support is needed to address the backlog of bank reconciliations resulting from the implementation of new reconciliation procedures and additional staff training.

Required

• PeopleSoft ERP
• Entering and processing manual journal entries.
• GENERAL ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES
• bank reconciliations for zero-balance accounts

Required Skills & Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience and knowledge of general and management accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with automated accounting systems.
• Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
• Experience with reconciliation and budgeting.
• Hands-on experience with the PeopleSoft ERP system.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations for zero-balance accounts.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and work with financial data.
• Experience entering and processing manual journal entries.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience reviewing system-generated journal entries.
• Experience using PeopleSoft queries.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Languages:

• English – Speak, Read, and Write
