Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in working with specialized food processing equipment? Ventura Coastal is looking for a dependable and motivated Juice Processing Systems Operator to join our manufacturing team!

In this hands-on role, you'll operate and monitor specialized juice processing equipment, including our Bucher, De-Oiler, Centrifuge, and Debittering Systems, helping ensure our products meet quality and customer specifications.

What You'll Do

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot juice processing equipment, including Bucher, De-Oiler, Centrifuge, and Debittering Systems.

• Perform equipment startup, shutdown, cleaning, and sanitization procedures.

• Monitor production processes and adjust equipment to meet customer quality specifications.

• Collect and test juice samples to ensure product consistency and quality.

• Perform resin vessel regeneration and equipment cleaning procedures.

• Maintain accurate production logs, operating records, and quality documentation.

• Communicate with shift leaders and supervisors to support production goals.

• Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.

• Cross-train in additional fruit processing operations.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic computer skills and ability to operate touchscreen equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow operating procedures.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized processing systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot routine equipment issues.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Active manufacturing environment with approximately 80% of the workday involving walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and on potentially wet or uneven surfaces.

• Ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
