Jr Java Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientedJunior Java Engineer to join our development team. As a junior developer, you will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps)
• Support integration of APIs and third-party services
• Learn and apply best practices in software development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Basic knowledge ofJava programming
• Understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Familiarity with frameworks likeSpring / Spring Boot (preferred)
• Knowledge ofREST APIs and web services
• Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Exposure to version control systems likeGit
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in Java development
• Familiarity withHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding ofAgile / Scrum methodologies
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
