What you'll do:

Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
Inspect, diagnose, and document facility conditions, identifying repair and replacement needs to prevent future issues.
Utilize hand and power tools to dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment following blueprints and manuals.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts ordering, and warranty claims while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical facility needs outside regular hours.

What you'll bring:

Proven experience in plumbing and facility maintenance, including preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and fixtures.
Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking.
Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with management, contractors, and coworkers.

The hourly wage range for this position is $36.00 - $69.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
License in related trade in city and/or state of work.
