Assists in planning and delivering Chronic Disease Prevention (CDP) programs, supporting participant engagement and helping individuals achieve their physical health and well-being goals through YMCA CDP initiatives. 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age required. 
• A high school diploma, or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience leading/ facilitating classes and working with special populations is required. 
• Knowledge of basic health and wellness principles and exercises, as well as healthy living behaviors.  
• Knowledge of form and technique of strength training exercises and function of cardio equipment preferred.  
• Maintain current certifications in HIPAA, CPR AED, First Aid.
