About the Opportunity
An established IP practice is seeking a Trademark Agent to manage a growing portfolio of trademark prosecution and portfolio management work for Canadian and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute trademark applications before CIPO and internationally

• Advise clients on trademark clearance, portfolio strategy, and enforcement

• Respond to office actions and manage oppositions

• Liaise with foreign associates on international filings

• Support senior lawyers on IP litigation and licensing matters as needed

Qualifications

• Registered Canadian Trademark Agent (or actively pursuing registration)

• 3+ years of trademark prosecution and portfolio management experience

• Strong writing and client communication skills

• Detail-oriented, with strong docketing/deadline management habits

• Experience with Madrid Protocol filings an asset
