Associate Manager

This role supports a company in thelifestyle and wellness consumer goods industry, specializing in aromatherapy and air solutions designed to enhance everyday living. The position is responsible for overseeing production quality at partner factories in Thailand, ensuring products meet defined standards, and facilitating smooth communication between local suppliers and cross-border teams in Taiwan and Shenzhen. It combines hands-on inspection, supplier development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product quality, innovation, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Quality Control

• Supervise production processes at partner factories in Thailand and conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Record, report, and support corrective actions for any quality issues identified during inspections.

Issue Tracking & Reporting

• Consolidate production and quality issues from Thai factories and communicate them to relevant departments overseas.
• Follow up on issue resolution progress to ensure effective problem-solving and timely updates.

Communication & Coordination

• Serve as a liaison between factories in Thailand and product development teams abroad (e.g., product design, planning).
• Coordinate requirements and feedback to ensure efficient production.
• Provide regular updates and reports to maintain cross-department transparency.

New Supplier Development

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential new factories in Thailand for product manufacturing.
• Establish cooperative partnerships with new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and production requirements.

Travel Requirements

• Travel to factories between Bangkok - Lampang as required for production monitoring and quality supervision.
• Frequency of travel is flexible and based on production stages or new supplier development needs.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience inquality control, supplier management, or manufacturing supervision (ideally in consumer goods, electronics, or related industries).
  • Hands-on experience withfactory audits, inspections, and production monitoring.
  • Familiarity withISO standards, QA/QC processes, or product compliance requirements is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve production or quality issues.
  • Excellentcommunication and coordination skills to act as a bridge between suppliers and cross-border teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple suppliers and production timelines.
  • Proficiency inreporting and documentation of quality findings.
  • Basic knowledge ofsupply chain or production workflows.
• Languages:
  • Fluent Thai (to liaise with local factories).
  • Fluent Chinese (to communicate with Taiwan/Shenzhen teams).
  • English proficiency would be a plus for international coordination.
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel frequently to supplier sites within Thailand.
  • Flexibility in working schedules depending on factory production stages.
  • Possession of a driver’s license/own vehicle is an advantage (with allowances provided if not)
